Last week, I received a a super cute card from my bloggy friend Savitri!!! I met Savitri when I started this blog almost 2 years ago. I can't believe how fast time flies. I was still new to the blogging world at that time and Savitri was the first few people who commented on my blog and she still does even until now.She is sweet and funny and full of inspirations. I will cherish our online friendship forever! Head over to her blog to see her creative work and also her two beautiful gals :) Hugs to M and Jovie!
Have a great day!

Old Stuff Challenge by Teri Anderson
Happy Friday people!! I am back with another card today. This was created yesterday for Teri's challenge (if you don't know who Teri is.....she's the go-to-gal at Papercrafts). Teri came up with a fun challenge called the 'Old Stuff Challenge' and she challenged us to make a card using old stuff that we have neglected for a while. I thought to myself what a great idea!
Since I can't spend too much time on a card, I came up with a simple design using the journaling spot by Making Memories that I hoarded....'old' stuff. The butterflies were punched out from EK Success paper....another 'old' stuff :) I always love challenge like this because it encourage me to dig deep in my stash and sometimes I found stuff that I don't remember having them. The sentiment is a rub-on by OA.
On other note, did anyone of you watch Glee?? I watched the 1st episode on Wednesday and I was completely swoon! Love the songs, love the characters and love the story! Can I call myself a gleek now?? It's a term for Glee fans :))

Hello Card
Hello there! It's Thursday already....how time flies! Chinese New Year Celebration is less than a month away and there are so much stuff to do. Cleaning the house, cook for the family and blah blah blah. And not to forget that I have to give red packets this year. In our Chinese tradition, it is customary that a married person give red packets to childrens and single adults during CNY. Each year I would received about RM500 worth of red packets from relatives and friends...what a great fortune! But this year I lost my steady income because I got married last year and it's time for me to give red packets (which I'm so reluctant to give.....lol)
Today's card is made a while back but I have not show you before. So here it is.....more OA stuff. Love love OA!! I used my cuttlebug to die cut the sentiment which belongs to Sheila. I don't know why but I love to see staples on card.....do you?? I know my non-crafting friends loathe this idea. I still love it anyway :)
Happy crafting!
Edited to add: Anyone going to CHA??? I so wish that you could bring me with you!!! You can sneak me in your luggage :))

Surprise Card
Since I came back from KL and with my backache I had stop making cards for a while. The last card I made was about two weeks ago. Yesterday I took the medication that the doctor gave me...to be specific they are painkiller. It will not cure my backache but at least it made them go away. I felt so much better and when I got back from work, my head was bursting with ideas and my hand is itching to create. I came up with an 'evil' plan :) Hubby usually play badminton with his buddies on every Monday. As soon as he exit the front door, I immediately dashed into my craft room. It's evil isn't it?? shhhs....don't tell him...lol. I was watching Golden Globe on E channel so I moved my stuff and start working from the couch. How comfortable! At least I can lie down for a while when I feel tired or when I feel the stiffness on my shoulder and back. Oh btw, did you watch the Golden Globe yesterday? I'm glad that Meryl Streep won....love her acting!
This is what I created while watching the tv. I am glad I could multi task :) Before I start, I know that I must use the stamp set by Basic Grey that I had for a while. I love the teapot and cup stamp! Then I think of the color combo that I want to use on the card. I don't normally go for pink, green and kraft but I don't know why I dig the color combo yesterday. The patterned paper is in one of my Scarlet Lime kit by American Crafts. The ribbon is from my friend, Evelin. Thanks sweetie. The polka dots is from my PTI set. I don't know why but I think this is my fav card among all the cards I made. It made me smile :)
Not to forget that the layout of this card is based on the sketch over at Card Patterns. I had stop playing with their sketch for some time and when I visited their blog yesterday, I was greatly inspired by the sketch and the DT's creations. My friend Yvonne is part of the design team as well! I still remember the day when my card was choosen as fab 5 and later I won the guest design spot. I was overwhelmed by the opporunity that the ladies of Card Patterns gave me. I shall never forget that :)
I am a bit chatty today and thanks for stopping by here :) May you have a great day

OA goodness
Good morning ladies!
How was you weekend? Mine was not so great. My back and neck is acting up again and I was in terrible pain. I didn't want to go out, no appetite, feeling dizzy and I either lie down or sleep for almost the entire day. I was so weak at one point that I felt like a living dead. Thank GOD I was feeling okay today. Although I am still experiencing some pain here and there but it's bearable. I would like to say thank you to all my bloggy friends who send me well wishes! Love you all!
I hope I did not bore you with my backache stuff. I'll try to focus more on cards here. Let's see....I have a card to share with you today. I have a few cards that I have yet to share and this is one of the bunch.
I decided to use my neglected OA paper and die cuts. I have those die cuts for a while but I seldom use it. You are gonna see more cards featuring the OA die cuts. This is super easy and quick to made. It's simple but I heart it!
Thanks for stopping! Have a great day!

Update on my backache
Hello ladies!
I have two cards to share today. These were created for the Smidapaper class that I conducted back in October. For this class, I taught how to use various punches to make flowers. It's very easy and quick to make.

My backache was so bad that I could no longer bear the pain. So yesterday I went to see an orthopaedic and we did the X-ray to determine the cause of the pain. The X-ray showed that my neck is deformed.....a normal person should have a straight neck but mine is bend forward and if I don't take care of it now, it will get worse. Doctor said I shouldn't carry heavy things or bend down. Not even running as it will cause damage to my spine. Hubby asked the doctor whether making card is part of the cause of my neck pain. Guess what......the doctor said it could be the cause. Oh boy! I was so sad to hear that! Now, I was under strict supervision.....no card making at the moment :( Sad isn't it??? Sigh.......
