Thankful for friends like you!

Hello my lovely bloggy friends!

As I sit here in front of my laptop reading your comments, I am reminded how blessed and thankful I am to have bloggy friends like you. I always thought to myself what if I never start blogging, would I miss the chance of knowing all the fabulous people from around the world? Definitely YES! I am glad I took the first step and the rest is history :)

I'll be travelling to KL and spend my four days with this babe. We are going to have a blast, that's for sure!! I am meeting some of my crafty friends too. Ohhh....I am getting excited! Can't wait to see the gals!

I made a card with my new favourite manufacturer, Echo Park. The colors of the paper are so vibrant and it makes me happy just by looking at them.

Thanks for stopping! See you again!

Happy Birthday Jessy!

Hey there!

**Ahem...clear throat**

Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happyyyy Biiirrtthhdayyyyy to JESSYYYYY, Happpppyyy Biirthdayyyyy tooooo youuuu!!!!!!!

I hope that your day is blessed with happiness and joy! I will celebrate with you again when I see you on Thursday! Ooohhh....I can't wait!

Above is the card I made for her and below is a matching tag for her gift. I knew I had to break out the beautiful pattern paper by Melissa Frances that Jessy gave to me as a RAK. I thought it goes well with her elegant style, don't you think?

I surely hope she likes them :) Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave her some love today!

Together Forever Mini Album

Hello lovelies!

It's Friday again! I'm always happy when it's Friday, who doesn't? Lol :) I'm here to share a mini album that my friend commissioned me to make. Yep...you heard me right. Not a card but a mini album. I can't share the contents but only can show you some of the details inside.

The cover (I seriously love the butterfly!! Thanks Jessy! I'm considering of getting one soon)

Paper fabric by Dear Lizzy and butterfly die by Papertrey

Sheila knows I love ticket and bought me a pack of Maya Road's ticket (thank you my friend!)

Bought the tiny sentiment stamp from Wati not too long ago and I love the crisp result that the stamp gives. It's from Technique Tuesday by the way.

I got to run! We are having a group outing and my colleagues are waiting for me! See you soon!

I am...........

back with my regular post! It makes me happy! I truly appreciate the time you took for leaving me a comment every now and then. I'm so fortunate to have a group of supportive bloggy friends like you all. You made me fall in love with blogging like never before. So, THANK YOU!

I'm here to share another card I made during my card frenzy weekend. It is a very simple card with a mix of Girl Paperie and My Mind's Eye paper. The colors are soft and pretty, don't you think? You know how I love my ribbbons right? The cream satin ribbon is my new love :) Both sides are identical so you don't have to worry which side to flip when tying a bow. Love it already? You can get them from Smidapaper :)

That's all I have for today! Do come back again tomorrow for another round of CASE Study Challenge. Have fun!

Grad!

Hey there!

A colleague of mine ordered a graduation card from me. It's for a guy so I keep the design as masculine as possible. No pink, no ribbon, no polka dots and no flowers.....oh boy. I dig through my stash and happily found the Basic Brey ledger paper that my crafty friend, Vi gave to me a while ago. The die cut borders and alphabet paper is from the So Sophie collection by My Mind's Eye and you can get them from Smidapaper. The chipboard letters from Cosmo Cricket. I guess this has to be my favourite of all the masculine cards I've ever created :)

Thanks for your lovely comment!! Hope you are having a great day!

Friendly Challenge

Happy Monday y'all!

I hope you had a great weekend! I sure did! I had a very prodcutive weekend....been spending a lot of time in my craft room and created thirteen cards in a span of three days. It rarely happens and so glad it did :)

Today I have somehing fun to share. My creative babe, Jessy host a friendly challenge and asked a couple of her crafty friends (including me) to join. She sent us an inspiration photo and I was drawn to the colors and the patterns of the cushion pillows. Although these are not my usual favourite color combo but it's a defnitely a good challenge to make me step out of my comfort zone in a while.

Photo inspiration from www.thelennoxx.com

At first I can't decide if I should create a CAS card or shabby chic one. Luckily Echo Park and October Afternoon paper came to my rescue and help me decide which style to go for. Phew...they sure save my day :) Though simple but I love the result. I hope you like it too.

I thought the sentiment fit the challenge perfectly. A friendship card for a friendly challenge :) I hope this inspires you and let's check out the rest of the particpants here.....

Cardmaking Class at Smidapaper

Hello there!

I'll be having another cardmaking class on Saturday, September 25th at Smidapaper. Learn how to make precise windows on your cards. This session also teaches ink blending techniques, background stamping & puching. For more details on the class, check out Smidapaper blog here.

Also, do check out my weekly post at Smidapaper blog. I'm sure most of you have your fair share of paper scraps left over from your projects. But do you use them often? Well, I don't so I challenged myself to create with nothing but scraps and I managed to came up with three mini cards. Let's just say I'm proud of myself :)

Have a great day!
