The Mailbox Post

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Mailbox Monday is originally hosted by Marcia from A girl and her books and The Printed Page. In the summer of 2010 Marcia decided she needed a change in hosting and didn't want to rely on one blogger alone to do it because its a lot of work so she decided to put Mailbox Monday on tour and so far with great success it has made monthly stops at more then a dozen blogs and this year is booked until the end. I will actually be hosting Mailbox Monday in April.

The host for February is DC Metro Reader.

Another host for In My Mailbox is Kristi from The Story Siren.

Be sure to check out the above blogs to see what they and others got in their mailboxes this past week.

So this past week was Valentine's Day. I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day.

This past week I got no physical books in the mail for review but I did get three ebooks for review for book tours that I will be on.

Portal by Imogen Rose. This is the first book in a series and I will be on the April 17th tour for this.

The Marriage Contract by Lisa Mondello. I will be on the April 2nd tour for this one.
Illicit Magic by Camilla Chafer. This is the first book in a trilogy I believe and I will be on the April 23rd tour for this one as well.

They all sound really good and I am excited to read these.

I was pleasantly surprised that I actually ended up getting two books for Valentine's Day. That cute little penguin guy was a present from Michael and he said that he knew I would love because its soft and cuddly. Which I do love because he picked it out.

The two books I got as gifts were:
-Under Attack by Hannah Jayne. This is the second book in the series
-The Wood Queen by Karen Mahoney and this is the secong book in a series as well.

Both of which I am excited to read. I am currently waiting for a scholastic order to come in and hopefully it will be very soon because the order was placed last week. I managed to find a couple of books that I am super excited about because they are currently available in hardcover in the stores and I was able to get them in paperbacks much cheaper.

So this is what I got in my mailbox this past week. Hope everyone had a good book week. See you next week.
