At at rally on Labor Day September 3, 2012 to call for public control of Chevron and the energy industry, Cindy Sheehan who is a Peace and Freedom candidate for Vice President spoke at the Richmond, California Washington Park and in front of the refinery and called for the nationalization of the oil industry and for the criminal prosecution of Chevron executive for putting the community and workers in danger.
