Cutesy Cards

Happy Monday to you! I'm finally back to crafting after a few days lapse. I wasn't feeling my best last week. I was sick and tired and moody and angry! I don't know why. But I'm feeling much better now. I have been busy on weekends and I managed to create four cards which out of three are orders from my colleagues. All these four have to be the cutest cards I've ever made thus far. And challenging too! My 'customer' requested a dog card and another requested a bear card. I scratched my head and squeezed my brain on how the heck should I make these cards. It sucks when you wanted to create but nothing came out of it. That's what happened to me on Saturday. I spent the whole afternoon of Saturday created just one card (the Bundle of Joy card) which is uber simple but took me hours to complete. Can you believe it?? I was so frustrated! Then, miraculously my mojo flow back to me on Sunday and I managed to create three more cards. Oh boy...I was so happy!

The first is a bear card which my colleague wanted to give for his wife's birthday. Alright, this card had me put on my thinking cap. It took me almost a week to think. I did one a few days earlier but wasn't too happy with the outcome that I literally discarded it. The bear were hand drawn, cut and pieced together. Though it took me quite some time to do this but I enjoyed every moment of it. I had plan to make a dress for the bear but totally forgotten about it. Next time, maybe :) I use the Black Magic Core'dinations cardstock as the bakground. I ran in through my cuttlebug using the happy birthday folder and sanded the raised surface to reveal the pink core. Don't you love pink and black?? It makes me smile!

Next, is a card for newborn. All papers are from October Afternoon (i {heart}) except for the die cut giraffe which is from Fancy Pants Kraft Kuts collection. I love the cork alphabets sticker. It's so fun and easy to use. My friend bought for me while she was in US a couple of months back. It cost only USD1 per pack! It's cheap!

The third card is for a dog lover who at the same time loves pink (just like me!). Papers are from October Afternoon and cardstock are from Bazzill Basic. If the bear card was difficult to do then this is one level more difficult than the former. I had no idea what a dog card should look like. I don't think I can pull this off without the help of template.

I hope you are not bored yet. I have one last card to show you. I just got my Cosmo Cricket paper last week and I wanted to use it so badly. I think it's from the Girl Friday collection (correct me if I'm wrong). The cute duckies are cut out from October Afternoon Ducks in a row collection.

I hope you like what I share with you today :) Bye and have a great day!
