I created three cards yesterday night and I'm so happy that I accomplished my mission. I just signed up for the Unity Stamps KOT and since I'm going to incorporate more stamp into my cards, I challenged myself to use the damask stamp from the Making Memories wedding line. I wanted to see how many cards I can create with just a stamp. And I'm happy I made three. And here they are...
To create the background, I ink the damask stamp with Brilliance Pearlscent Orchid and stamped on a white cardstock. For the added touch of shimmer, I add some pink blings on it. Then, I tore a piece of white cardstock and adhered to the stamped background and tie a ribbon around it. And voila....a super easy card within 30 mins :)
For this card, I changed the background to blue. I never staple my card before and decided to give it a try.
This concept of this card is pretty much the same as the pink card. The only difference is the color and the technique I used to stamp the background. To create this background, I placed a butterfly mask over the white cardstock and then spritzed it with the gray shimmer mist by Tattered Angels. I did not capture the butterfly mask but it look clearer in real life. Instead of using cardstock, I tore a piece of vellum and adhered it to the stamped background. Then I finish it off with ribbon and some pearls.
It's such a breeze to create with stamps. Why it took me so long to realized it? lol :)
Happy Tuesday!
