Plum Crazy Challenge

Morning ladies!! Have you watch the Michael Jackson 'This is it' show? I watched it 2 weeks ago with HB and my FIL (FIL as in father-in-law *wink*). I was amazed by how talented MJ was during the entire show! The dancers and the musicians are amazing too! I was especially drawn to those hot and hunky dancers...(if you know what I mean...lol). The songs that MJ sang during the show brought back memories too :) How about you? Do you like the show?

Anyways, I have a card made for the Plum Crazy challenge by Cath at Moxie Fab World. I rarely use this color which is why it's a challenge to me. The funny thing is I don't even have this color of cardstock in my stash. I bought it just for the challenge :) The moment I saw the Plum Fabric Flower Bobby Hair Pins that Cath featured on her blog, I was so inspired that I created this card.

The flowers are created by layering the circles that I tear from cardstock. Then I add black brads to the center....just like the flowers from the picture. I used the text stamp by Prima to create the background. Then I created the butterflies by stamping small dots (Unity Stamps) on a plum cardstock and punched out. I also stitched the butterflies with some French knots. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp too. I think this is by far the plum'mest' (is there such a word??) card I've ever made :)
