Its that time of the week again when I get to take a peak into what is in your mailbox this past week and you get to do the same with me.
Well Canada post went back to work this week. (Thank God) The last two weeks of having literally no mail was rough. I was doing okay with the rotating strike because we were getting at least mail almost every other day. So I am sure there was alot of very happy Canadian bloggers out there.
This was a short week in mail and courier deliveries because Friday (July 1st) was a holiday in Canada as it was Canada Day.
When I was writting up this post I realized that I literally only got one book in the mail and the rest came from either Canpar or FedEx. So thank you to Canpar and FedEx for dropping these goodies off to me.
Are you curious to see what I got? Well here you go:
(From top to bottom)
-Plum Gorgeous by Romney Steele. Thanks Andrews McMeel & Simon & Schuster Can for sending this.
-Once Every Never by Lesley Livingston (ARC). Thanks Penguin Canada for this. I have to say that I love the cover of the finished copy and will probably buy it at a later time.
The following books are from Sourcebooks and I just want to thank the awesome reps that I work with there because they were fantastic during the lockout. I appreciate it.
-Who What Wear by Olivia Bennett. This is book two in the Allegra biscotti series
-The Pony Whisperer: Secret Pony Society by Janet Rising. This is book 3 in the series
-Stupid Fast by Geoff Herbach
-Sally's Bones by MacKenzie Cadenhead (a Sept release)
-The Warrior Sheep go West by Christine & Christopher Russell. This is the second book in the series. (August release)
-The ultimate Top Secret Guide to Taking Over The World by Kenn Nesbitt Ill by Ethan Long
Finally I know I said I wasn't going to buy any more books but I finally managed to nab a copy of:
I have been trying for several weeks to get my hands on a copy of this book because according to the Chapters website they said my branch had 3 on the shelf. But those three have mysteriously vanished. Thankfully one Friday night I went back and a lady that I know there tried to help me but to no avail. The books were no where to be found so she gave me a coupon for %15 off my next purchase.
I have been stalking the site to see if anything has changed and I noticed one sold so I rushed there this week and managed to find them on the shelf so I nabbed it and used my 15% coupon that I was given and bonus another 10% off because I had the iRewards card. I just love the cover of this book and can't wait to read it very soon.
So this is what came to my door this past week, what about you?
