Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
Mailbox Monday is originally hosted by Marcia . In the summer of 2010 Marcia decided she needed a change in hosting and didn't want to rely on one blogger alone to do it because its a lot of work so she decided to put Mailbox Monday on tour and so far with great success it has made monthly stops at more then a dozen blogs and this year is booked until the end.
The host for September was Kristen from BookNAround . This is a new to me blogger and I am super excited to check her blog out.
I am happy to announce the host of October and its Kate from The Parchment Girl . She is another great blogger that you should check out.
My fellow Montreal blogger, Tynga is doing a mailbox post called:
Tynga's Reviews is hosting this meme and you can check out this link to find out more about it .
Can you believe that September is just a few days from being over? Where did the month go?
So lets start with the freebies I got this past week. My sister graciously passed on to me two small packs of Finish Rinse Agent, Cascade tabs and two Quatimum tabs. There was coupons with these as well.

With September it means back to school and Scholastic Book Club. I am once again helping Michael's english teacher with Scholastic.
I just wanted to talk about Scholastic Book Club before telling you what books we got from the September forms.
As a parent you probably cringe when you see your child coming home with the Scholastic Book Club forms right? Wonder why they are coming home with them?
Well let me say I don't cringe when Michael comes home with his because I know that they come home for a reason and its a good one, did you know that every single book you buy goes back into the classroom? Even just one book you buy.
So with that being said, let me tell you about the books we ordered this month from Scholastic. This month was amazing with book selections that we went a little over board.
-Geronimo Stilton DVD 2
-Lego Official Fan book with three mini figures
-The Giver by Lois Lowry (I figured at some point Michael would be reading this and it was a good price so I picked it up)
-The Eleventh Plague by Jeff Hirsch
-Infinity Ring book 1 A Mutiny in Time by James Dashner
-Judy Blume bundle (fudge-a-mania/Double Fudge/Super Fudge/Tales of a fourth grade nothing) Michael is reading these in class
-Creepella Von Cacklerfur Return of the Vampire
-Theo Stilton The Journey to Atlantis
So that is what I got in my mailbox this past week. What about you?
