Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
Mailbox Monday is originally hosted by Marcia . In the summer of 2010 Marcia decided she needed a change in hosting and didn't want to rely on one blogger alone to do it because its a lot of work so she decided to put Mailbox Monday on tour and so far with great success it has made monthly stops at more then a dozen blogs and this year is booked until the end.
The host of October is Kate from The Parchment Girl . She is another great blogger that you should check out.
My fellow Montreal blogger, Tynga is doing a mailbox post called:
Tynga's Reviews is hosting this meme and you can check out this link to find out more about it .
I know I am back posting this as you can probably tell but I have been busy. The weeks are busy and the weekends fly by. With school, hockey, curling, maintaining a household, volunteering in the school library, and the list goes on and on.
This is what came to my door this past week.
Sorry the picture isn't very good.
The first item I got was a Garnier Ultra Lift anti wrinkle firming cream (day cream) foil packs to try for 28 days. Apparently every one got 14 foil packs so I am presuming that you basically use one pack and divide and use it that day and the next in the am. I am excited to try this out.
The next item I got was from Lancome and it was a perfume sample La Vie Est Belle (Life is Good). I am excited to try this new scent and its in the kind of bottle that I really like the spritzer one.
Then finally I got the P&G sampler pack and inside was: Scope dual blast mouthwash, Gillette Fusion Proglide razor, Cascade all in 1 (2 inside) packs, Tide 1 pac pod, (I have been wanting to try this since they came out), Febreze air freshener kit with a New Zealand springs scent, Downy unstopables in wash scent booster (actually really like these), Dawn dish soap sample, and a crest 3D white stripe.
This week I got a surprise envelope in the mail. My totally amazing friend , Kim from On The Wings of Books (who was one of my roomies for BEA) sent me this super cute bookmark, postcard and magnet. Along with a little letter. OMG that was super sweet of you Kim, thank you. I have the magnet on my fridge and I'm using the book mark in my book. The post card is hanging on the desk.
I only got one book for review and its Happily ever Madder by Stephanie McAfee. This is the second book in the series. I read and reviewed the first one and really enjoyed it so I am curious to see what Ace is up to in this one.
So this is what came to my door this past week. How did you guys do?
